Saul Hardin

Saul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (Minor in Coaching) from Central Washington University in 2002 and completed his Master of Arts in Teaching (English Education – Secondary) in 2025. His approach blends his background as a coach, parent, and educator — giving him a unique perspective on developing both athletes and young people.

Saul’s baseball journey spans from Little League to collegiate play and beyond. As a player, he competed with Triple Play Baseball Club, winning three Amateur World Series Championships, and later played at Bellevue Community College, University of La Verne, and Central Washington University.

 

As a coach, he’s led programs at multiple levels, including Triple Play Baseball Club, Central Washington University, Skagit Valley CC, Bellevue CC, and several Washington high schools — earning seven Amateur World Series titles and numerous program accolades along the way. He’s also coached fastpitch and youth programs, hosting camps and clinics through organizations like Grand Slam USA and The Garth Brooks Foundation.

 

Now based in Surprise, Arizona, Saul lives with his wife Michaela of 12 years and their blended family of seven children. They are active members of their local church, serving in both youth and marriage ministries and leading groups such as Marriage on a Mission and Family Sports Day at the Park.

 

Through Tier One, Saul’s mission is simple: to make quality coaching accessible to every family and help young athletes grow in confidence, character, and skill — one rep at a time.
